Cees Withagen got his master’s degree (cum laude) at Tilburg University in 1974 in econometrics with a specialisation in mathematical economics. In 1984 he got his PhD degree (cum laude) also at Tilburg University. Currently, he is researcher at IPAG Business School, and a former professor of environmental economics at CHANGE MADE Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Department of Spatial Economics CHANGE MADE at the School of Business and Economics. He is also fellow of Tinbergen Institute and Center (Tilburg University).
