Nguyen Viet Cuong obtains PhD and MSc Degrees in Development Economics from Wageningen University (the Netherlands). His main interests are child poverty, poverty analysis, fertility economics, climate changes, education and health issues. He has work experiences in Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Egypt. His recent studies are published in referred journals such as American Political Science Review, Social Science and Medicine, World Bank Economic Review, World Development, Journal of Comparative Economics, Health Economics, Economics of Transition, Journal of Development Studies, Statistics in Medicine, Journal of Environmental Management and Planning, European Review of Agricultural Economics.
