Dr. Hussain is currently working as a tenure track assistant professor at the faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Groningen. Dr. Hussain is also an external member of The Africa-Asia Centre for Sustainability at the University of Aberdeen, UK. His research interests lie in the areas of Sustainability Performance and Disclosure analysis, Environmental Innovation, Greenwashing, Corporate Governance, and Financial Accounting. His research has been published in Journal of Business Ethics, Business & Society, Journal of International Money & Finance, Business Strategy & the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production among others.
